I need a break, but won’t be home until after 10pm tonight. I won’t get to read books to my kids or give them hugs. Here’s a pic of my old boat for your time.
Have a good weekend, oppo. I don’t think of weekends as relaxing these days, as we’re busy and the kids keep me moving constantly. That’s good... but exhausting. I’d love to rip around the lake listening to the roaring Ford 351 V8 breathing through the sweet dual 3" exhausts of this thing. In some ways, the new boat is better. Ok, in every way. But the memories this picture brings flooding to my brain, are countless, and priceless.

I drove by my Nautique yesterday haha
It needs fiberglass work and I’m having a hard time getting someone to do it... since Fall 2018.

Great guess, but actually no! This is an ‘03, so no wood stringers. It has some damage from a forklift that needs to be repaired. Two chips out of the chine near the stern and a big ol’ gouge through the gelcoat on the side. Doesn’t look like a lot from far away, but I didn’t do it, and it was agreed that it would be fixed... so... I’m waiting...
